We hope you’ve enjoyed your summer. While you’ve been soaking up the sun, here’s what we’ve added to iconik…

Mapping Metadata

As a platform, iconik allows you to configure it in a way that best suits your needs. Custom metadata forms are one of the ways you can make iconik your own. Now, iconik can map embedded metadata like IPTC, XMP, and EXIF to asset metadata fields.

When new media is uploaded to iconik, mapped field values like dates, times, camera settings, license info and more can be automatically added into the asset’s metadata.

Group Saved Searches

Saved searches allow other users to use a saved set of search parameters to quickly find what they need. These are really handy, but what happens when you have a large number of saved searches?

Now we’ve added the ability to group saved searches and to search from within the saved searches panel. This will allow you to immediately find the saved searches you have access to. Grouping saved searches will organize them and make them simple to navigate.

iconik Mobile Home Screen Shortcuts

From the beginning, we designed iconik to be responsive. The same powerful tool you use on your computer can be accessed on a mobile device. Now we’ve made it easier to access iconik at a moment’s notice by adding a shortcut to your home screen. These shortcuts for IOS and Android devices will open and access iconik within its own window, separate from your standard browser.

When you need to access your media, it will be waiting for you.
