Updated Terms and DPA
We recently updated our Data Processing Agreement. This post highlights the main changes that we’d like to bring to your attention. The new DPA will go into effect on September 11, 2024 for existing customers and immediately for new customers.
We've clarified our use of Google Cloud and AWS now that customers can chose to host their instance in either cloud. We also clarified that only the multi-regional iconik-managed storage includes managed backups since the regional storage is intended for use as a secondary storage by customers. Finally we added two new sub-processors to help us deliver the best services going forward.
Below is a list of the changes to our Data Processing Agreement.
Data Processing Agreement
- Clarified that Google Cloud and AWS are optional subprocessors for the core iconik services depending on where the customer chooses to host their instance.
- Clarified that iconik-managed regional storages are not backed up as part of the service. These are expected to be used as secondary locations for media which resides on other primary storage such as an ISG.
- Added Klaviyo and Growthbook and removed Zoho as subprocessors.
- Minor grammatical, spelling and formatting changes.
