At iconik, we’re always looking for ways to make it easier to connect your media with the people who use it. 

This latest update brings a few small but impactful improvements to help you work more efficiently—whether you’re organizing assets, reviewing collections, or managing users.

Create a collection from a saved search

If you frequently run the same searches in iconik, you’re probably already using Saved Searches to quickly pull up relevant assets. Now, you can take that a step further by creating a collection directly from a saved search or adding the content to an existing collection. Whether you need to group assets for a project or compile frequently used reference materials, this makes organizing your searches even more powerful.

See your total collection length in HH:MM:SS

The Get Info popup for collections now includes the total duration of all assets in a collection. This can be useful for things like estimating AI processing or transcription costs—or simply getting a better sense of the content within a collection. We’ve also added this info to the “Delete Collection” popup, so anyone about to delete a collection can see the storage location, file count, total duration, and size before removing anything.

Sharing made even easier

We’ve made it simpler to share assets in iconik with a more visible Share button, now always located in the top-right corner of the UI. That means there's no need to dig through menus—whether you’re sending a single file or entire collections, the button is always there and ready to go. This  update cuts down clicks and makes getting assets to the people who need them even faster, especially for those sharing at scale.

User descriptions in the Users list

Managing users just got easier. We’ve added a description field to the Users list view, so you can quickly reference who someone is or why they were added to your iconik domain, without needing to dig through records.

Search metadata in filters faster with suggestions

When searching for metadata tags in the filter panel, iconik now suggests available tags as you type. This makes it quicker to refine searches, find the right tags, and work more efficiently.
